When we started Club Merchandise a little under a year ago we made so so that -
1) We would raise funds for clubs or charities with EVERY sale we made
That is something that we do every day.
2) We would give young designers a chance to sell their designs via our products.
You already see the designs in the shop now, and they sell every day.
3) We would actively find ways of giving people of any age who live with a diagnosis of autism or aspergers the
opportunity to work with and for us.
We have just today been able to offer a part time role to a young man with a diagnosis of autism. He will earn above the national minimum wage for the 18 hours he is with us each week and we hope, with your support, to be able to offer more young people like him a similar opportunity soon.
We wanted Club Merchandise to be different, to have a distinct moral compass and that's what we have already managed to do.
We certainly enjoy having such a positive impact as there are some things that are far more important than profit.
